The show was greatly influenced by a pessimistic, scapist and free-thinking viewpoint. The focus of the show is on exaggerating thinking which may help you to cope up an unfavorable reactions that may help to excuse lack of fate, in order to lessen angry feelings when you have a bad experience, which is a useful defense mechanism to reduce the risk of unhappiness.
